Many people are not aware that it has been a requirement since 2005 to keep a fire risk assessment under The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. This requirement applies to those who are employers, owners, landlords or occupiers of premises. Even in rented premises you should have your own Fire Safety risk assessment.


This toolkit includes  fire risk assessments (and examples) in the follwing areas:

  • heating and lighting
  • housekeeping
  • means of escape
  • storage


Also included is a record of visits by Fire and Rescue Officers.
